Finding My Way in the 70s

I like a website blog for many reasons.  It is a way to put my work on the market but it’s also a fantastic archive for myself and the viewer. I am posting work here from the 70s.  It was a time of learning, originals, contests and copying some famous artist’s work to practice. For me it is a place of starting. I can record here what might get lost. My work before 1970 was lost in a house fire.

“Inside Our Rooms”

“Inside Our Rooms” is a series of paintings depicting women in today’s world. It demonstrates how others perceive us or how we perceive ourselves. These are small paintings, roughly 4″ x 6″, painted with acrylic on paper and matted in an 8″ x 10″ white, acid free mat.  Please refer to New Work in the above menu for the complete series.
